This hotel is not near the city center, but is right off a train line. Perfect for a quiet vacation and still seeing sights. It clean, has friendly staff and affordable. The only issue we had was communication. We told them we had booked to separate reservations when we arrived because we had decided to stay one night longer than our accompanying family, they waited until 7pm of the night we had made the reservation to let us know we had not booked the correct date for our additional date and that they had no rooms for the next day. I was to say the least very frustrated. Yes, it was my fault. But had someone notified me of my situation on the day we arrived 6 days earlier I could of rebooked, found another hotel, or at the very least not panicked at 7pm about where I was going to be staying for the next 24 hours. The terrible communication and lack of customer support left me with anxiety and frustration. After hours of back and forth and me finally not finding any other rooms in Dublin, apparently there was a concert happening. The hotel agreed to “let” me stay at an additional cost of over twice what I paid originally. With no other options available I paid it. Note to self, check your dates or you wind up paying over $700.00 a night for a room that is not really worth more than $200.00. It’s a tough lesson.
