Bait and switch. Room Confirmed 4 months prior on Hotels.com. Check-in day Hotel billed my card 4:30 am, before I left home. Checked in at 3:00 pm to “learn” that “you didn’t have a reservation, you had a request”. Bull. They sold all the King Rms to a wedding party, and since I didn’t book with them, they put me in a queen room. Hotels.com would NOT support me because they said I paid the hotel. Hilton Guest Services didn’t want to touch it because I made the res thru Hotels.com. So I paid for a King four months ahead, got a queen at that price, and got fleeced. So that evening a large dog starts barking in the adjacent room. During the hour, I call the front desk 3 times, asking them to resolve this problem. Well, the guest supposedly “snuck” the large dog in to avoid the $75 pet fee, then left for the wedding. Hotel mgmt could not reach them by phone. So at 9:30 pm we’re packing up all our stuff and relocating to another floor-room. Imagine that fun with four days worth of luggage that had already been dispersed throughout the original room. The hotel will say they comped the nite, which they did, but that doesn’t make up for the oversized pet violation, leaving a pet unattended violation, and unauthorized pet violation of the adjoining guest which caused us to have to move. The wedding guests returned about 11:00 pm, noisy as hell for an hour. I got 3.5 hours of sleep and that totally ruined what I was in town for the next day. No apology from the manager, ever.
