Upon arrival the front desk, the front desk guy was watching the security camera. I asked if everything was ok, he told me a master key was missing. I asked if it was to the rooms bc of safety. He told me it was to the backdoor and that he was trying to relocate it. I asked for a room close to the elevator if possible and there wasn’t one. Instead we were put in a room that wasn’t clean and had clearly been broken into before.So, I had to make sure the door was blocked, locked and sealed to protect us. Inside the room it was covered in dust, crumbs, Cheeto handprints on the mirrors, pee on the floor. The sheets seems clean…we hope. It was late when we got in so I cleaned the areas we were to use and used our own blankets to sleep. The hotel is getting ran down. You can see ripped and replaced wallpaper, rust, mold, dust etc. Things only got worse in the morning, when the attendant running breakfast had nothing stocked at 745. When asked by several people for items we were informed there are no forks, no napkins, no sausage and the coffee cups weren’t even stocked and only one sugar alternative offered. I was not impressed. I wanted to talk to the front desk attendant when leaving, but her 1% attention that I even existed in this world, had me leave to follow this up w Wingate myself.
