I booked a room at this hotel, and instead of choosing a room with one bed, I paid an extra $80 for a room with two beds and a sofa bed for two nights, and I paid in advance.
When I arrived at the hotel at night, tired from the trip and with my two small children, the hotel staff told me they only had a single room available. They also said it was NOT THEIR RESPONSIBILITY that I had booked a double room and paid extra ($80), and that if I wanted to stay, that was the only option they could offer me. I had no other choice, especially since I had already paid in advance.
They refused to take any responsibility, claiming it was hotels.com’s fault. Terrible service.
On top of that, the bathroom light didn’t work, and the shower had a leak.
I contacted Hotels.com to see if they could help resolve the issue or at least give me a refund for the extra amount I paid. They spoke with the hotel, but the hotel refused to take responsibility.
This is the LAST time I stay at an Extended Stay America hotel. I definitely DO NOT recommend it.
