Point Pleasant Inn
The rooms were large and spacious. Looked newly painted with new floors. I personally like carpeting and the rooms was wood laminate so stayed cold. The towels were gray not white so did not use them. They looked dirty although the room was clean. It had a stove sink microwave and refrig but no cups for water or soda. There was an issue checking in. The man checking us in was not very personable at all. He instead on payment, which I understand as I choose pay at hotel, but was notified by my bank at 9:45am that payment was already made, I did not check in until 5pm. After going back and forth with me getting annoyed and ready to leave and him just not hearing me and insisting, my husband came in and showed him the charge on my back. He decided to just pay it and we would take it up with Hotels.com. While I was calling them, he all of a sudden found the charge slip, it was indeed charged at 9:45am. Keep in mind that check in time was 1 pm and it was now 5pm. When I asked why it was charged at that time and not when I got there, he had no answer.
