This was 1st time I stayed at best western and I hope the last.For a 3,5/4 stars hotel and the price we paid I waited for a much better treatment.By the time I checked inn and the front desk told they close hotel late afternoon ‘till next day and entrance required to show ID,I wanted to cancel my stay immediately.I didn’t Know about street reputation.Bed was the worst ever,cleaning the same.air condition like an airplane turbine.Impossible to sleep.I left one day earlier because I hated it.If I had stayed one block away,would be much better.The only good thing was food.Restaurant and people working there was great.After all the bad experience,I got no reimburse from night I didn’t stay.”Part of contract”.They did not print my bill at check out and after my leave, when they charged 106 dollars on my credit card,I had to write best western customer service which gave me 5 days to contact local hotel, which took 10,after I insist.They told me to send email to Vancouver local manager which was way too far of being nice.Local manager told I should ask my bill to Hotéis.com,which he called “Expedia”,and didn’t send receipt from extra charges on my credit card.This person was really non sense to answer and after I write back really stressed due to his denial to send My bill from extra charges,only,which he could do by pushing a bottom on his system, he alleged misunderstood on my email.A hotel not prepared to receive foreign people and not worried about customers.Totally regretted.
