Stayed 12 days for a business trip which had a lot to do with the Word Trade Center, it's not next door but I liked the lively area, lots of people in the street at night, lots of normally priced shops and places to eat.
Overall stay was good. Everything is super expensive inside the hotel, but the neighborhood has a lot to offer, do your grocery shopping and laundry outside. It's 10 times cheaper.
As we were there for business, we needed internet to work. Only buying a package. As a single package can allow multiple devices (4), be smart if you and yours friends/colleagues are multiple rooms. You can share the codes. Also the business center does not exist anymore, you can send your printouts to the reception. Not ideal but ok.
The restaurant upstairs has some special nights (meat night, seafood night etc) with a all-you-can-eat formula, that's worth it because as a guest, you get a discount voucher.
The pub downstairs (Boston) is a nice change of pace, and does not pollute the hotel with any noises or whatsoever.
One side of the hotel faces a building, very quiet (cannot hear the prayers) but not much lights in the room. The other side has the view of Dubai skyline, lots of lights, but then you get the prayers.
