Dingy, subpar quality. Under construction.
The hotel is under construction. It took us twenty minutes to figure out how to check in. I had to stand in the rain at a drive-in type window to check in.
The halls looked clean, but a bit run down.
The room was neat in appearance, but the comforters were stained. The sheets and pillowcases were crisp white, and the mattresses/pillows looked new-ish. The carpet in the room felt damp with socks/bare feet and our socks were dirty from walking on it. The carpet had red and black stains.
There were only two lightbulbs in the room. The tv was 19”. The hard surfaces were clean.
There was a small microwave and refrigerator; the fridge made a loud noise when it kicked on, we unplugged it. The curtains were not completely hanging on the rod.
The bathroom was very small, but clean. They only provide clean towels every three days.
It advertised having free breakfast and there were menus for room service; but we were told that neither was available. The only vending machine was on the first floor.
Our room was on the second floor, we could clearly hear the people who were staying in the room above us walking around.
A LOT of people walking around the hallways that looked… more like they were in rooms maybe just for hours or less.
The hotel is located on very busy Morgan Avenue, I was surprised we didn’t hear the traffic very well.
The location is convenient for shopping/dining options.
They did tell me at check in that the whole hotel is being actively renovated. Call first.
