I’ve never left a bad review in 10 years, but this warrants one. We arrived at 220pm, after driving for 6 hours. I was taking my son to a concert in Detroit and we wanted to check in, drop our stuff, then head to Detroit and return after the show. It’s about an hour away.
The front desk lady, told us we had to pay $10 to check in early. I explained the situation, it was only 30 mins early. She told us they had the room ready and available, but she would charge us $10. I asked if we waited for ten minutes, could she give us the room. She refused.
I realize $10 is $10, but this has to be the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced at a hotel. She couldn’t even bother to look away from her computer screen to have an eye to eye conversation. I’d never suggest this hotel to anyone.
