My husband and I travel to Syracuse often, and have stayed at this hotel many, many times in the last 20 years. This may have been the last time however, considering the extremely rude way I was treated upon check in on Friday night. I had done the pre-check in and only needed to pick up our room key, but upon our arrival there was nobody working at the front desk, or anywhere in the lobby. After waiting more than 10 minutes, I saw Karen, who apparently works at the bar. I asked if there was anyone who could help me, and she opened up a big mouth, rolled her eyes and berated me in front of other guests who were in the dining room, and told me to just wait, because " I wasn't the only person in the hotel". Absolutely uncalled for and obnoxious. It started the weekend off on a very bad note, I never received an apology, and I do not think we will be back. In addition, we were charged $10 per night to park, although after the football game the lot was packed full, and most of the cars did not have a hotel pass on the dashboard, leading me to believe that the lot is not monitored and many people parked for free.
