When we arrived to the hotel, we had to wait around 40 minutes to have our “VIP check-in” because those that book through expedia are treated as “VIP”, which is a BS because i could’ve checked in in the normal stand much faster. It really matters when you travel with small kids.
The hotel sent me 2 messages prior to my arrival asking question what time we arrive approximately, to ensure they are ready for our arrival, which is another useless thing, because when we entered the room, it was dirty, there were remains of toothpaste on the sink from previous guests. Also there was only 1 towel while we were 2 adults and 2 kids. I called the reception to ask them to clean the room and bring more towels and the reception lady rudely responded that they only provide one towel and never sent cleaning staff. On the next day i found the guest services manager and complained about this and they quickly fixed everything with room being deep cleaned, however, damage was already done and 1 day gone. I have also left a formal complaint about the rude lady and the cleanliness of the room leaving the approximate call time and date.
The room itself was pretty good, however, it is very old and bathroom is a disaster in terms of being clogged all the time and there are many cracks everywhere. AC worked perfect, but thermostat that controls is it junk, no matter what temp you set, it always cools as a one setting.
The pool itself was dirty in my opinion because it was heavily congested.
