The hotel has the potential to be an excellent hotel, but fails in several aspects. Expensive rates, without breakfast included and with an absurd fractional value of 49 dollars, in addition to an extremely inconvenient front desk team. We made the payment for the reservation in advance and when I checked in, a deposit was made on my credit card, in the amount of 400 dollars and the amount we were consuming at the hotel was being debited from the card.
We told them that even with the deposit we would pay all expenses at checkout. After charging 661 dollars on my card I blocked it and then they were unable to charge another 60 dollars.
They called the room twice at night, I explained that we would pay everything at checkout the next day. Not enough, it was an employee at the door of my room asking about the same issue, again I explained that we would pay everything at checkout. That night my friends and I went out to dinner and asked the valet for the car, which took a long time and we were informed that our key was blocked at the reception for non-payment, and that 661 dollars had already been charged on my card. We were called to reception and once again I said that we would pay at checkout.
It was an extremely embarrassing and inconvenient situation. How can they block our car keys and prevent us from going out on account of 60 dollars? This was foreseen from the beginning.
