No parking. A tiny parking lot that was full. The front desk person was sulky and borderline rude and said to park in the street. There was no parking. And it was 8 degrees outside with horrendous wind. I found a paid parking lot 0.25 miles away at a hospital. Barely made it to the hotel. Then she said that she
1) Always tells people to park there. (Lie! She told me nothing so I had to stop my car and google, in the middle of Queens.)
2) As someone who lives in NY she does not understand why people use cars. I came from MD to fly out of JFK?
Then she forgets to program my key. I go all the way to the fourth floor and the key does not work. In heavy clothes and with my bags I go back down. She says, O! One minute. And actually programs the key.
I asked for a wake up call. Got none.
Breakfast is some horrible cold rolls and some bottles of, I don’t know, juice, yogurt? They told me to go to a deli at the corner.
Have I mentioned it was 8 degrees plus windshield outside?
Sleeping is also hard - it’s Queens, sone cars were beeping at night and at 5 am.
