This hotel is pretty far away from everything but that can be nice. The bus lines are easy to access and run very frequently. Some staff at the hotel is super, but one or two bad apples can make a travel experience unnecessarily challenging, as was the case during my two week stay at this aparthotel. After my initial checkin, I had to take the bus back to IKEA and buy myself a blanket because the desk clerk refused to admit that the duvets had down feathers (I have an allergy.) I literally could feel the feather pins in the duvet and he just snapped at me that the label said polyester. Yes, sure, in the cover. Anyway I just went and bought a blanket myself because arguing with him didnt seem productive and I was tired after a transatlantic flight. I needed a no feather blanket for a two week stay. Same guy was not helpful when I couldn’t use the hotel laundry because it runs off an app that requires an operating system that my phone doesn’t run. You can’t do laundry here without installing an app on your phone. I asked if there were any other laundries elsewhere I could use. He scoffed at me and told me everything is closed on Sundays. I asked housekeeping and they helped me figure out where to do my laundry on a Sunday in Geneva, just a short bus ride and not a big deal. The laundry room in the hotel was kind of dirty anyhow. Also the gym is not super attractive as a place to work out. The village area around the hotel is super cute and nice for evening walks.
