I knew and used this Marriott Hotels Chain before and thought it would be the same. we arrived around 3.15 to check in and they said “rooms are not ready! Yet” they said. We found out that the rules and mentality of this hotel is different from others. They have a rule of check-in at 4pm and check-out at 11pm. This was the answer for us why you shouldn't stay there if you are only there for one night. I guess they don't have enough staff that they can't do enough cleaning in 3 hours like in the same group hotels in other cities of the world. By the way, we had enough of the city and we came to our rooms at 3-4 in the morning to sleep, but they started knocking on the door after 09.00 in the morning and disturbed us. By the way, when I asked for my invoice when I checked in, they said that you will get the invoice from Expedia even though I had an email. Because of these reasons, I had a very bad experience about the mentality of Marriott Budapest. Their location is perfect, Lobby, bar, restaurants are great, clean and big enough rooms but how can you have fun with them if you get this negative energy? Definitely do not choose if you are not staying more than 1 night
