Rough check in
Upon check-in (I reserved through a third party), I was told I needed to pay again. I showed him my confirmation from the third party, and he said it was unacceptable. After much back and forth, it was finally straightened out. Then he told me he needed my credit card for a $10 fee. I asked what for and he told me it was for the third party. Again, I said, No. Again, after going back and forth about it, I gave up and let him run my card. In the morning, I asked the lady at the desk, and she told me that it was a hold for incidentals. I would think he should have known that information.
I also had trouble because I had 2 reservations. We decided to come a night earlier than initially planned. The young man told me that he checked me in for my entire stay, but he had not. I wondered what would have happened to my things while I was gone since I had not been checked in for the next 2 nights.
