Will Not Return...Ever
We knew we were in for quite a stay from the moment we entered our room. Although at first sight, the room looked clean, a lingering odor of urine persisted. Other rooms in the hall smelled worse when guests opened their doors. The pool, a major factor in our hotel selection, was not open for the first two days. Afterward, the water was freezing and not safe for swimming. Moreover, it reeked of mold - which was visible surrounding the edges of the pool. Aside from one staff member, all the staff encountered were unfriendly and seemed put out by standard requests (out of toilet paper, needing towels after three days, needing to throw away trash because the trash was never picked up from the single trash bin in the room). The hotel is renovating, which is definitely needed. The furnishings in the room were torn, the leg on the side table was not completely attached anymore, the bathroom shower was spraying water on the wall, which must have been for quite some time because mold was building up, and there was cut out section of wall at the base of where the mold was that was not repaired. The one acceptable feature of the hotel was that the beds were comfortable, despite the legs starting to bend to the side.
