Cute and stylish cottage (we were in the Milking Parlour), easy to find and good location. Cosy for a few days for a couple but the outside space a bit disappointing.
Inside the cottage is pretty much exactly as per the photos. It's stylish and cleverly designed for multi-functional self-catering. Even has a dishwasher! Some tea, coffee beans, sugar, milk and olive oil kindly provided. The smart home features for air-con, heating, radio etc take getting used to but are effective. Could do with a few blankets to avoid putting heating on of an evening.
Very comfortable bed, small wardrobe and hairdryer/iron provided. Compact but powerful shower, small but good quality towels and gorgeous local toiletries. It is extremely quiet here - I am a very light sleeper and did not have any issues at all.
There isn't much privacy from the front - with all the windows looking over the courtyard with fairly regular comings and goings. We kept the blinds down which meant it was quite dark inside during the day.
The main reason we booked this cottage was the outside space which looked inviting and cosy. Unfortunately, it was nothing like the photos. Half the furniture shown wasn't there, no scatter cushions, and the seat cushions were stained and had mould on. The deck hadn't been swept of fallen leaves or rotting fruit from the trees. It just wasn't somewhere we could relax with a book or have an evening drink together, so we stayed inside. Pity.
