Our suite was clean and comfortable, but worn-out and run down. Couch was ripped in several places, carpet and chairs were stained, fireplace screen was broken, kitchen sink and dishwasher were unusable. Two of the three remote controls did not work (not batteries, we tried that). AC unit outside bedroom window was running 24-7, it was like a diesel engine inches from our heads, making sleep difficult. Did not shut off for the entire 3 days we were there. All of this was reported within an hour of check in, and nothing was even looked at until we were packing up our car to leave. Turns out the AC unit was frozen over, and needed to be shut off and restarted *We were given a discount on the room due to the noise.
Was charged for parking, even though this was not mentioned at check-in, in the hotels.com listing or on the Sonesta website.
Breakfast was good, nice selection of foods to choose from. We also enjoyed the trail behind the hotel, great early morning walk/easy hike.
