Scammed, charged for an addition room 2 days after check out... Early May, I reserved a room for late May, a few days later I canceled the reservation. I received a cancel confirm # & email from Hotels.com. 10 days later I made a new reservation. The day of check-in while traveling, and at check-in and at check-out, a "2nd room was mentioned, all 3 times I explained (and they already knew) that was a different reservation that was confirmed cancelled (with weeks to spare). 2 days afterwards, the hotel ran a different card that they had on file from Hotels.com for another room, that I did not use or have a reservation for. Hotels.com was no help. I had to go to my bank to get my $ back. Bank had to cancel my card & issued a new 1, it's been a major hassle. NOTE: in nearly a decade of using Hotels.com, I’ve Never left a negative review. (nothing good to say, I don’t say anything) but obviously I’ve needed to make an exception in this case.
