The hotel´s general appearance is a bit dated, with long corridors, with popcorn walls and old carpet. Room was sized accordingly to London (small but not tiny), and had a comfortable bad with new linen. In room safe, cable tv with tons of movie channels in english, minibar and iron+board. AC did not work well as it seems to be one of those old water systems... could never get room temperature to reach 21 degrees as air never blew really cold from air condititioning. Luckly on second night it was cold outside and opening the window was sufficient to lower room temperature to my preference.
Bathroom is tiny, and poorly renovated. It seemed liked when they decided to renovate room they glued the new tiles over the old ones, making both the toilet became too close to wall (had to use it sideways) as was the tub. Water pressure was good, and hotel location proved to be convenient enough to justify the price. It is a good option for colder days in London and I would probably stay there again thanks to the outstanding service (front desk personnel were really friendly).
