It was a privilege to return to this historic hotel after my first stay in May, 1981, when it was owned by Giorgio, the father of Nino, the current proprietor.
Artistic touches delight inside and outside Felicin, views of the world-famous Barolos vineyards are featured in rooms (with balconiess), the warm and welcoming staff (Daniel, Andrea, Sylvia & others) became friends and the ristorante for both colazione and cena were unparallelled. Owner Nino was a particular presence offering a ride to a restaurant, leading us to a charming pizzeria and recommending an excellent 2016 Barbera d'Alba to complement our final dinner.
In a word, Felicin-Albergo Giordino Dimora Storica was MERAVIGLIOSO....!!!
