Extremely disappointed. The staff whose name was "Audrey" made our check-in a terribly unpleasant experience.
First she asked for our names. She didn't find it in her system and got a little unpleasant while we did’nt know which name we booked in....she asked for first name but it turned out she was looking for our last name. No big deal we thought.
In the booking, we have written 2 adults, 2 children (6 and 8 years old), and added in a comment to the hotel that we also have an infant with us for whom we would like a baby crib. Got an email from the hotel confirming that it is okay, that they will set up a baby crib in the room.
But when Audrey's sees our baby, she rolls her eyes and says "you're 5 persons it’s not possible, you can't stay here" we try to resolve the situation but unfortunately she doesn't want to help and is extremely unpleasant and rude. Almost screams and finally tells me to shut up. Never experienced similar treatment....
When we then ask if we can cancel the accommodation, which she refuses and say: you have to cancel the day before..,even though we completed the booking 2 hours ago. We call hotels.com customer service for help, he also talks to your employee who refuses to be helpful. In the end, we are then forced to book an extra double room for SEK 1,869 so that our infant can stay at the property. A room we won't even use. The Audrey in question went and hid in the office.
Not okay at all!
