I stayed at this hotel recently and had a bit of a mixed experience. On the upside, my room had hot water, which was a relief because some of my colleagues weren't so lucky. However, the front counter service left much to be desired.
When we all checked in together, I ended up being the odd one out and couldn't get sorted even after waiting for over an hour. It was frustrating to see my colleagues handled promptly while I was left standing there. Eventually, one of them had to intervene before I could finally get checked in.
The service overall was disappointing, and it's hard not to wonder if my experience had anything to do with being the only Asian in our group. Hopefully, this was just a one-off situation, but it definitely put a damper on an otherwise decent stay.
