The good things about this place is that my room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The location is very convenient to everything in Clemson and seems fairly safe. That's about it.
Staff isn't very friendly or helpful. Even though I had the heat set at 65, the heat blew consistently and the room was scorching by the middle of the night, so I slept with the heat off. The plug outlet next to one side of the bed didn't work, the phone was dead, the toilet seat was broken, the equipment in the exercise room was poor quality and hard to work. Breakfast was just okay, about what one would expect.
I couldn't find any Internet access information upon arrival (later to be told it was on my room key sleeve). There's a card saying dial 0 for Internet questions. That's when I realized the phone didn't work. I went to the front desk to report the phone was dead and the woman said, "well, it should be working". I told her that, well, it wasn't and she shrugged her shoulders. I went ahead and gave her my room number (121), even though she didn't ask for it. Nothing was done to fix it, so I didn't bother to report the broken toilet seat or anything else.
Bottom line is that this place isn't worth saving a few bucks at. Spend a little more money and go somewhere better.
