As a business traveler, I have stayed at a few Embassy Suites across the USA. This one was, by far, below the standards I’ve come to appreciate from Hilton. The staff was very difficult. I wanted to order food. The online method was not working. I talked to the front desk. They told me to talk to the bartender. The bartender told me to talk to the front desk. I worked through the bartender to finally get an order in. In the 50 minutes I was at the bar waiting for my food, she was there 10 minutes total to serve one drink. Otherwise, she was sitting at the tables talking to her boyfriend or out right gone! Then, the A/C fan sounded like I was ready to launch to Mars! So loud. In the public areas, there was torn and peeling wallpaper. We did take advantage of the board games from the front counter, so a bit of good from the front counter. That was fun and a nice to have. Again, I love Embassy Suites, but this one feels to be lacking the appropriate leadership to deliver a great visitor experience one would expect from a Hilton property. I will continue to stay with Hilton but would never stay at Embassy Suites KCI again.
