I racked my brain on which hotel to choose in Flagstaff. Sooo many to choose from. All vary in prices. But why?! What a decison.
I ended up on the Country Inn on Lockett because of the easy access and proximity to restaurants, stores and a large park for the kids down the way. (Highly recommend this park as it has a dog park there too - Bushmaster Park)
Okay, now about the hotel.
1. Very friendly staff.
2. Clean.
3. Small breakfast area. Also, I am pretty sure the tables were made for kids because I had to bend over sooo far to eat my cereal and Im 5'4"and my knees were touching under the table top. Lol
4. Food choices were average. Vaires by day. Waffle maker, fruit, yogurt, muffins (once again sooo tiny and a bit dry), juices, one choice of milk, and a few hot choices each day. (Egg patty things, biscuits/crazy, bacon(yet again THE smallest pieces of bacon I have seen it was hilarious but crispy). Overall...it was "free" so why complain.
5. Free Otis Spunkmeyer cookies in lobby.
6. Free USA Today
7. Free coffe bar area daily
8. Pool area, was well maintained and clean. I have to say though, the pool towels, I kid you not...small again!! Smaller than a hair towel. I was sensing a theme.
9. Rooms. Clean but very worn down in some parts. Even though it was clean, it needs some TLC for sure.
10. Bathroom was standard. Had shelves rather than larger counter top which was fine. Had a hard time regulating the temperature in the shower. Fluctuated.
11. Beds were fine
