This hotel is in the middle of absolute nowhere. There are no restaurants nearby, nothing pleasant or comfortable for tourists. My room faced the back end of a bunch of semi trailers. The freeway is really loud. The food was some of the worst I've ever had in any hotel, but the decor was lovely. The vegan guy who runs the restaurant was pleasant, helpful and quick. The front desk woman was none of those things. The blanket in the room is really thin, but the heat is fast and strong, and there was a spare blanket in the cabinet. The hot water is fast. The hair dryer didn't work in my room. The curtains don't really fit the window, so light comes in. There was a wastebasket for recycling, so I gave them 5 stars for "eco-friendliness". The TV is on a pull-out tray because it doesn't face the bed, which meant it was always at a weird angle, but the channel selection was great. The internet was fine. The elevators were fine. The place was a ghost town when I checked in on Saturday night, so it's obviously a business hotel. I will never stay there again, but it is suitable if you have a reason to be in remote Wood Dale.
