Super Clean, Great Location, Basic Amenities.
I arrived during a Spanish holiday which I didn't know so all hotel prices were higher and few choices. Felt lucky to find a room in such a great location - at the border of Old Town and Centro, a block from the waterfront.
The lady at check in was very nice. The room is super clean and I'm such a clean freak. It faced a courtyard used for clothesline but I didn't mind since I was worried about the lively crowd noise in front of the building.
Having a mini fridge was nice since I was used to that in U.S. but in almost 30 years I've been traveling in Europe, I don't recall a lodging without coffee/tea making facility (whether in room or in common area). Wish there were cups for beverages.
The bed was comfortable but pillows are a bit hard. But I couldn't sleep well because it was so hot! I woke up soaked in sweat. The courtyard is enclosed so couldn't cool down the room much. The WiFi wasn't always reliable.
I opted to walk with my luggage from the bus station which is a km or so away. But you can take a taxi or bus.
