I recently stayed at Harveys, and unfortunately, it didn’t live up to expectations. The hotel is undergoing construction, which we were never informed about beforehand. Large sections of the property were being worked on, and it really took away from the overall atmosphere. What made it frustrating was the complete lack of communication. No mention during booking and it wasn't brought up by staff during check in. It felt like the guest experience wasn’t being considered at all.
In-room dining and turndown service, were both missing without explanation.
On a positive note, the room was clean and the valet and bell team were fantastic — friendly, professional, and attentive. They were the highlight of an otherwise disappointing visit.
