A lovely boutique hotel with a theme (each floor and room features political art from the 1960s and their are turntables and records in the rooms). We didn't care about the art; what we liked were the comfortable bed, robust air conditioning, nice shower, lovely park and city view (from our room we saw the spot where Montreal was founded, a few blocks of the Old City, and the spire of Notre Dame), convenience to the waterfront and the Old City, and the charming, welcoming staff. The only thing we didn't love were the mediocre breakfasts (mostly a baguette, a sliver of cheese, and some yucky juice--you made your own coffee with the Keurig in your room), but we did like that they were delivered to our door. All in all, a nice quiet place in a good spot. Definitely would return.
