Having "eco friendliness" as a rating on everyday hotels is a stupid category and should be removed. Its pandering and insincere and apparent you're being paid by entity to put that as a rating category when it has zero relevance with 99% of hotels out there. It would make a lot more since to have a "clean, healthy food" rating, being able to give hotels props who have healthy, organic foods or snacks that are not loaded with high fructose corn syrup or seed oils, or water that comes in glass bottles rather than plastic, which leaks nanoplastics/polymer particles etc. This is rare in hotels, especially chains, and should be applauded when a hotel makes an attempt to offer such things.
That being said, Hotel Indigo is a great chain for the most part - I am rarely disappointed when I stay in any of their locations and Chattanooga is no exception. The valet guys, the front desk help, the maids and the servers/bartenders were all very friendly and helpful, the food was decent, and most importantly the rooms were clean and had quality bedding and nice bathrooms with nice towels. The hotel was also in a very convenient, centralized location in downtown Chattanooga. I will definitely be back.
