Disrespect ? No....Worse than that: lack of coherence. Lack of logics. And borderline dishonest. They offer one thing online, but when you come to the hotel, it is something else.Liars.I Had an offer for " Egytpians and Residents in Egypt". My mother is with me, and guess what: SHE IS EGYPTIAN.
The offer did not say anything else: Egyptians and residents.
Egyptians can mean only ONE THING: born in Egypt.
And on my mother's passport is clearly written: Born in Port Said, Egypt
But smart as they are, they said: " no,...she needs to have an id from Egypt"
But that was not written anywhere!!!
And a detail, which if I was Egyptiamn I would be ashamed....My mum was expelled from Egypt with all of her family in 1956, just for being European!!! No documents, no money, all their possession left behind, they were expelled like dogs from Egypt with only now suitcase.
And those people at Sonesta, at 21:30, after a long trip from Brazil, simply said: or you pay more, or you will not stay in this hotel.
Again...I tried to explain: at the website of Hotels.Com, (who I blame as much as the hotel!!!) it is written " Offer valid for Egyptians and residents
A Resident has to prove he is a resident
An Egyptian has to prove he is an Egyptian
And nothing mattered to those people
Hotels.Com abandoned me a dn Sonesta, blackmailed me to pay 25 dollars a day above the price I accepted and paid the website.
Well, beyond my " personal " story,...Sonesta is far from everything, is old, you have to
