Check-in was an unfortunate event. I received a text from the hotel with a link to complete the main components of the check-in process ahead of time- including paying for the room. When I arrived at the hotel, I had to go through the process again, and was asked to pay for the room AGAIN. I had the confirmation number and the transaction recorded on my bank account as proof, but the staff maintained that they hadn’t received payment. After waiting about 20min, the issue was resolved with the first transaction being voided, and the second (processed at the hotel) being confirmed.
The room itself (205) was damp and smelled of moisture/mildew. The amount of moisture in the atmosphere actually made my hair start to frizz, the paper with the channel list felt damp, etc. The grout on the bathroom floor and shower stall was noticeably stained/dirty, and the vent in the bathroom wasn’t functional either; the freezer slot in the mini fridge had frost buildup.
Spend the few extra dollars and stay elsewhere.
