Where to start. Upon check in, I knew we were off to a bad start after being informed that both elevators were out of order. The service elevator was running but took forever to get to the floor when called. The entrance was dirty and cluttered, as it was not intended for guest use. Not ideal or convenient at all given we were traveling with our 2 young sons. Taking the stairs was faster but not great since we were on the 5th floor. Once finally getting to the room,I had to check the hotel info to see if it was pet friendly. While the info claimed it was not, the absolutely nauseating stench of cat urine and stained carpet made us think otherwise. We kept our shoes on in the room because of how dirty we felt. One of our adjoining room's AC hardly kept the room in the 70s. We also had to clean the toilet when we got there, I'll spare you the details. There was an exposed piece of metal sticking out of one of the beds that was a major tripping hazard, especially for our 2 year old son. All in all, the stay was one that we won't soon forget, and NOT for the right reasons.
