They did not have my reserved room for me. I was told they were sold out and 2 were under maintenance.
I reserved a specific type of room, knowing they were on the bottom floor which I needed due to bad knees, etc.
Why do you reserve a room if you give them all out!!?? because of the time of night and being up 37 hours, I took the room she had available (UPSTAIRS DOUBLE). the room I was given turned out was being worked on, nothing was plugged in, tv had no cords connected, smoke alarm was sitting on microwave, with no batteries. paint on chairs, tape over all the outlets, security locks broken or missing, wood shelving sitting on the porch in front of the door. toilet did not flush right, sink parts sitting on counter. no trash can, and to top it off there are no batteries in the remote control. NOW the lady at the desk, was very helpful, and nice. she did bring me batteries. BUT TO NO AVAIL... the remote was to a dish receiver not to the new TV (Amazon fire TV). so, no TV either. I had already showered and put away my things when I noticed all this, and again needing to relax and go to sleep. and after I was told I should talk with my third party booking to get the room comped. I just used my phone to relax and went to sleep. Slept okay, and AC worked great. But this was the worst room in San Angelo. and worst I have been to, and I am in about 85 a year. I will report this to Hotels.com and demand my money back. I have plenty of photos if needed
