We booked this hotel because we needed a room suitable for a wheelchair user, and the hotel does have good accessibility. There is stepless access into the hotel, to the first floor rooms, and to the breakfast area. Our room had good space to move around, and a bathroom with a roll-in shower, a fold-down shower seat, and grab bars in the shower and around the toilet. Beds were comfortable and we had a nice seating area. Breakfast was included and on the better end of free hotel breakfasts.
However, our room was really beat up, with torn carpet, broken bathroom tiles, torn wallpaper, a broken lamp, just a lot of wear and tear. The main showerhead didn't work, though the handheld one was just fine. The room has been cleaned, but there was a lot of mildew in the bathroom. We had a microwave, but it had a plate inside that didn't fit the machine, so it didn't turn. The hotel exterior and public areas were nice and well-kept, and this is not a particularly cheap hotel, so we were disappointed about the state of the room.
