Fantastic room, well designed with a large bathroom (shower only), two sinks, air conditioned bedroom with a small fridge and very welcoming and friendly staff. There is one TV with Netflix, one chair and a couch which becomes a bed.
The location is above a busy street, filled with outdoor dining, street vendors and occasional buskers. It is incredibly central and in walking distance of most of Rome’s major attractions and it is the location that you are mostly paying for. The downside is it can be a little noisy late at night but it’s worth it for the atmosphere and location.
My only gripe with the property is that calling this a suite is simply not true and Expedia claimed that it had a separate sitting room which it doesn’t. The sofa bed is on top of the main bed and travelling with a !6 year old who likes his own space we felt very aggrieved at being misled by the website description and would never have booked this room if we had known. It led to a lot of stress and very little sleep which spoiled our trip but it is suitable for a younger family or adults who don’t mind sharing.
Once you know this I would highly recommend it as a great base from which to explore Rome.
