The hotel is nice enough, and it’s in a good location, but our stay was utterly ruined by dreadful customer service, specifically by the owner’s daughter, which was a real shame.
She was extremely confrontational and aggressive when I (very politely) raised an issue with her, which she had directly caused the previous day, and when I told her it had impacted my whole day, her answer was “well I had a bad day too, because of this incident, so we are the same!”
There was no hint of apology or shrewd of regret, despite my request to ‘put the matter behind us’.
Candidly, I feel she is desperately in need of training on how to deal with guests, which was an opinion voiced by another couple staying at the hotel too, who had a bad experience with her and found her to be overly direct.
When I told her I would not be returning to the hotel ever again, directly as a result of her attitude, she simply shrugged her shoulders and said “ok”. This is a pity as the rest of the staff were very pleasant, hard working and charming, but their efforts are undermined by the actions of this one person.
