I had a horrible experience here, was bitten severely by insects, found the room in deplorable condition, evidence of mold, and roaches, I even called and emailed the management, and have yet to hear back from them after two emails were sent.
Here is a portion of the email I sent:
“ Good Morning!
My name is XXX and I just completed a horrendous two night stay (Monday March 24- Wednesday, March 26) at your Days Inn Arlington property near Washington, DC hotel in Room 205.
I have been traveling internationally the last 24 hours from Indianapolis to Malawi so please pardon my late communication. I did not have stable phone service until now.
The cleanliness of the room was deplorable, the bathroom lights over the sink didn’t work, there was mold above the window, the former stove area had evidence of moisture, and the curtains were barely hanging on the rod.
Please see pictures attached.
There were even roaches as seen in the picture attached.”
“ Once I noticed this I immediately called the hotel and spoke to the gentleman on call, which told me, “Oh well, the room has already been re-booked, call back tomorrow.”
This response was both insensitive and unprofessional.
I am requesting a full refund and travel credits from your parent company to use at another property.”
