Unfortunately I haven’t seen an apartment this dirty. It started as soon as we opened the door. The carpet condition was awful and there was a dirty mop smell. The bathroom was dirty, the kitchen was dirty, the balcony had a lot of mould.
I bought anti bacterial wipes and wiped down all surfaces. We had dirty, wet towels rolled up and put back on the beds, these were replaced the following morning after I made contact. On arrival I found an ‘out of order’ piece of paper attached to the oven, I did receive a slight reimbursement for this inconvenience after I was told ‘you have a microwave and stove top, you can still cook’. There was a dishwasher with no dishwasher detergent / tablets. There was no dishwashing liquid or cloth, only a scourer and assuming hand wash in the kitchen.
Leaky bath tap and broken shower head reported, along with general condition.
I would have changed accommodation immediately if I could afford about $2000 to move for the duration of our stay!
The only positive was the location. We could walk everywhere and public transport was close by if needed.
Won’t be using this provider again.
