Staff was nice enough, it was clean, pricing ok. HOWEVER the whole place had a musty smell, which can be overlooked because it's probably old. But this beautiful hot tub, sauna, & pool were 75% of the reason we picked THIS hotel over plenty of others in the area that were just as close to our venue. We were told pool hours when we checked in for 1 night. At no point was there mention of limited use of the pool area. We planned to use it from 630a to checkout. Stated pool hours were 6a to 11p. We were in there for 5 mins before a maintenance man came & turned off the jets, fountains, & heat to the hot tub. I thought he was just testing. The room was chilly so we wanted to get in the hot tub instead of the pool & asked when he was going to turn it all back on. He said they redo the water every monday morning. This would've been pertinent info to either have posted somewhere or have been informed of during check in. He said we could sit in it for 15 mins before he had to do his thing. With no fountain or jets, & the heat already kicked off, it was like sitting in lukewarm bathwater. The sauna was also lukewarm. There were dirty towels & even clothing scattered about the pool room. I'm beyond disappointed. I mentioned it to the girl at check out & she just stared at me dumbfounded, did not apologize or sympathize, and basically did nothing. I get it, customer service doesn't exist anymore & staff don't give a d@mn. Maid tried to walk in our room at 820am w/o announcing herself.
