The best part was check-in. The Front Desk Agent was very cordial and helpful.
It went downhill from there. I went to my room and although clean, it was very outdated with a musty, old room stench.
I went downstairs to eat at the restaurant/lounge because I was tired and hungry. I was seated at 7:05pm. I ordered and asked for lemon for my water, and was told they didn't have lemons so i asked for lime and was told they would check. At 7:45pm, I still had not been checked on, no lime and no food. I left.
I went to my room and ordered delivery from outside the hotel. The driver said he left it downstairs, the shift changed and this time front desk rudely let me know that it's not their responsibility to notify me that the food was down there and i had to come get it. No problem. I get downstairs and I'm told, "it's over there", as she pointed to where another patron was blocking my view.
The culmination of everything was not pleasing to me. The hotel was not worth the night's fee AT ALL. Prices were elevated for some reason in the DC area, but i'm sure I could've better spent $300+ for one night in another hotel.
