This is a nightmare from hell. I reserved online to stay at this place from Feb. 13 to Feb. 20, 2024. When I arrived at ~11:15 PM. Feb. 13 and showed the clerk my ID, she told me there was no record of my reservation. I then showed her my confirmation number from Hotels.com. After checking further, she located my reservation and told me the reservation was canceled, due to mistaking my reservation for that of another person they tried to refuse access.
She told me she could not restore my reservation. Eventually at 01:15 AM, her boss sent her an email and my reservation was restored. She then proceeded with the registration process.
After coming back home and checking my credit card account, I found the motel charged me one more night (Feb. 12, 2014) for "no show", in addition to my 7 nights' charge. This extra charge was totally baseless. I called 3 customer service phone numbers of this motel for several hours, only to be told to go to the motel's website to complain, which I did on Feb. 28, 2024. As of June 11, I haven't received their response yet.
I visited this place on May 20, 2024, talked to the manager in person about the overcharge. She told me it was their practice to charge one night's charge the day before the actual arrival day of the guest, and the clerk forgot to cancel that extra charge when I registered.
She said she would take care of it. 22 days later, my credit card account hasn't received the motel's refund.
