X-Scream, at the STRAT Hotel, Casino & Skypod, takes the idea of an adult playground to a whole new level. Imagine an oversized teeter-totter, 866 feet off the ground, because that’s exactly what the X-Scream is. Right next to the infamous SkyPod, the X-Scream launches riders 27 feet over the edge of the SkyPod. You’ll hang weightlessly over the Las Vegas Strip following your leap over the edge. Strap in for another round, after which you’ll be drawn back and thrust over the edge once more. Think you’ll be able to ride without a scream? Don't be too sure.
If you want to plan a day of thrills at the STRAT, other rides and attractions are easily accessible, such as Insanity, SkyJump, Big Shot, and even a turn around the SkyPod. Insanity hangs riders from the side of a building at over 900 feet high, and Big Shot tosses riders 160 feet into the air at 45 mph. SkyJump is a marriage of freefalling and bungee jumping, while the SkyPod offers a less menacing ride and a view of the city.

Highlights of X-Scream
X-Scream’s prime location at the STRAT allows riders to alternative between adrenaline-filled adventure and other attractions, such as the L.A. Comedy Club, which mixes the styling of Vegas and Los Angeles. You could also make plans to check out Celestia, a circus spectacle performed beneath a 30,000-square-foot theatrical tent with acrobatics, dance, aerial arts, live music, and more. MJ Live spotlights the legacy and work of Michael Jackson with engaging dancing and music.
The renowned SkyPod is up for grabs for more than just a simple spin. Take a stroll around to see the spectacular Vegas skyline or have dinner at Top of the World restaurant in the 360-degree dining room. There’s also the 107 SkyLounge, the Observation Deck, and stops such as 108 Eats and 108 Drinks for snacks and cocktails. There’s something for everyone, including meeting rooms and a wedding chapel.
Nightlife at X-Scream
After a day enjoying rides, allocate some time to spend the evening enjoying activities at the STRAT. For dining, there are numerous options, including PT’S Wings and Sports, McCall's Heartland Grill, and Nunzio’s Pizzeria, to name a few. Grab a drink at View Lounge, REMIX Lounge, or McCall’s Whisky Bar. Hotel guests at the STRAT have access to the Elation Pool, which also features a poolside café and bar.
If you’re in the mood to gamble, the STRAT’s casino features 750 machines and 44 tables with classic games like craps, blackjack, baccarat, and roulette, spread out across 80,000 square feet. If you’re more in the mood to dance the night away, bop over to the REMIX lounge to jam out to live ‘80s and '90s tunes with a few cocktails.

To commemorate your visit to X-Scream and the STRAT, make sure to explore some of the STRAT’s 30 speciality stores, which include offerings such as jewellery, apparel, gifts, and arcades. To snag a deal on your stay, take a look at the STRAT’s packages, which have a range of options that may include rides, drinks, accommodation, and casino credits.
Riders for X-Scream must be at least 52 inches tall. Additionally, the ride moves both vertically and horizontally, sending riders to thrilling heights. The STRAT does not recommend this ride for guests with physical, mental, or medical limitations. However you end up spending your time at the STRAT, your itinerary is sure to be jam-packed with plenty of options for entertainment, dining, drinking, and, of course, the thrills of the likes of X-Scream.
