The outdoor plaza at The Sundial offers a lovely setting with eye-catching design and details. The centrepiece is an impressive sundial sculpture by Emmy Award-winning production designer Rene Lagler that rises 2 stories and pays tribute to St. Petersburg as the Sunshine City. Surrounding the sculpture is a mosaic lagoon with bronze dolphins created by Mark Aeling, a master sculptor, and his team hailing from MGA Sculpture Studio.
The Sundial also hosts fun events throughout the year, from free yoga classes and pop-up performances to holiday festivities complete with a tree lighting and a visit from Santa Claus, among others.
