The Falls is a shopping centre like no other, with a one-of-a-kind design and more than 100 stores, restaurants, and a cinema. Located in Kendall, Florida, which is south of Coral Gables in Miami-Dade County, the retail destination lies on US 1 and SW 136th Street.
The Falls happens to be one of the most extensive open-air dining, shopping, and entertainment centers in the United States, but what really makes it stand out is its waterscape design. The showcase feature is an artificial lagoon with waterfalls and colourful tropical foliage along with walkways. The sheer volume of water here is incredible, with 850,000 flowing gallons.

Shopping enthusiasts enjoy The Falls for its pleasant environment. The destination shopping centre, owned and operated by Simon Property Group, spans 55 acres and offers an alfresco retail therapy experience with stores that appeal to all tastes, from Macy’s as the anchor department store to Apple and American Girl.
When it comes to dining, the mall has a mix of casual fast establishments and sit-down restaurants showcasing global flavours. Options include Los Ranchos, Sokai Peruvian Sushi Bar, and Shake Shack. Film lovers can check out the latest blockbuster releases at the cinema.

Good to know when visiting The Falls
Since opening in 1980, The Falls has become a popular destination with travellers and locals alike. Along with its roster of stores, the shopping destination features a 1,344-square-foot play area near Centre Court, complete with nature-themed structures for climbing and sliding.
If you've never been to The Falls, it’s easy to find. Just look for the tower sign at the corner of South Dixie Highway and S.W. 136th Street. Throughout the year, there are fun events open to the public, including The Falls Annual Miracle on 136th Street Holiday Parade with floats, marching bands, and more in late November.
