Natural History Museum of Los Angeles County highlights

While there are millions of specimens and artefacts on display here, you'll find a few exhibits that tend to stand out. The dinosaur fossil displays, such as the triceratops, are particularly popular, but you'll also find one of the world's largest marine-mammal remnant collections.

The rotating exhibits hosted here always have something special to offer whether they're covering ancient animals or ancient humans. Some of the most popular temporary exhibits from years past have included one focused on mummies and another showcasing the soaring pterosaurs. You'll also find a butterfly pavilion here during the spring and summer.
