What are the highlights of Larimer Square in Denver
Larimer Square started out as Larimer Street and was named after General Larimer, who is known for building Denver’s first residence with doors made of coffins. Many of the buildings here have been standing for nearly 2 centuries.
Don't miss the Kettle Arcade, built precariously between 2 adjacent buildings and featuring some original Colorado culture. You can also see the Granite Building, which has seen many uses throughout the decades. It was built by George Washington and William M. Clayton, and you can still find their initials carved on the building's rooftop.
