The Spirited Garden is actually a collection of 7 smaller gardens, each filled with pretty flora and water features. While this area is now a wonderful spot for peaceful contemplation, it was originally barren and rocky. The creation of the garden was the work of 1 man, founder Seong Beom-yeong. More than 400 trees and various native Korean plants are planted in this garden.
The Spirited Garden is themed around a natural volcanic stone. There's also a manmade waterfall that flows into a pond filled with koi fish. Visit the onsite café to try homemade roasted coffee and Jeju pork sausages, with an excellent view of the gardens.
